Studio Tour

Facilities Include: Main Studio, Vocal Booth, Drum / Bass Room & Control Room.

Studio Large View

View of Studio "A" from the Control Room door

Studio B has a drum riser / bass area and is completely isolated from the rest of the building via acoustically insulated walls. Special sound-proof glass is installed throughout the recording area, including unique sliding glass doors between studio's A and B, so performers can have complete visual contact with each other, and the engineer.
Floor Plan

No Point studio was built from the ground up as a fully functional recording facility (not a converted garage etc.) the layout is comfortable, quiet, and efficient. From easy load in/outs to the buildings acoustics, everything was considered from the artist's and producers point of view.

Mackie Mixing Board
Our main console is a Mackie 32 by 8 by 2, one of the quietest in the industry. We feature 30 tracks of analog recording (plus two synchronization tracks) on 2 Fostex E-16 decks and a Fostex 4035 synchronizer. The system is accurate to one frame. A Mackie "Ultra Mix Pro" provides seamless, automated mixing.

Control Room
We also feature a Soundforge Digital Recording Mixing & CD Mastering suite, with a full array of DSP and envelope tools to guarantee professional - industry quality results.   On back rack one is a Tascam DA30 MkII RDAT recorder along with a complete ensemble of compressor gates, processors and the Cassette deck.  Pro MPA microphone preamplifiers, quarter inch reel recorders, and the second Fostex E-16 are mounted on back rack two.

Vocal Booth
Our Isolation booth is completely spring mounted, making it the most effective vocal booth in the Pacific Northwest.

Spring Loaded Vocal Booth

We provide a full array of services in CD, DAT, Reel, Cassette, & Hard Disk formats.
